The Perky Rose

I am Ashton, born and raised in a suburb near Chicago.  I attended both Westen Kentucky and Illinois State where I studied to become a Special Education Teacher.  Along the way I married my college sweetheart and moved back to his hometown in Colorado, where I now teach High School Special Education and Intervention classes.  We have two beautiful children (one boy and one girl), both who are under the age of three, which makes for a ton of fun paired with a ton of responsibility, and many sleepless nights!  My goal is to live a more holistic lifestyle, while still enjoying my glass of wine and reality TV shows! I'm just a girl from "the burbs" on the quest to improve my family's health and live a more balanced life!
